Sad News for HBC

Tonight we learned that Tom Matthews our organist/choir master died this afternoon. He had been fighting cancer for about one year and grew steadily weaker as time went by. He got up from bed this afternoon and either had heart failure and collapsed or fell and had a heart attack. With all of the other turmoil in the church right now, we now have the task of replacing our friend and choir leader who came to us as a pure organist/choir master and died as a minister to all church members.

He is our friend and pastor and we will miss him.
