The past two days

From 7 pm Friday night till 3:30 yesterday I was completely occupied with the 25th Annual Pacific Northwest Sacred Harp Singers' two-day Seattle Singing Convention. Almost three hundred singers from 12 states, 4 provinces, and several other countries participated. It was gret. I can hardly wait for next year. Here's the Easter Anthem as we sang it yesterday:

Sacred Harp is coming into play here on the Virginia Peninsula. The organist choir master at Trinity Lutheran Church is stirring up some interest. Judy and I quit going to Richmond when the young professionals took over and changed the singings from Saturday to Tuesday night, but we still love the music.
