Prevenient grace offered to all is no doubt absolutely necessary and any inkling/leading to accept that grace comes from God. On that we agree.
But a good Wesleyan also says that grace is not “irresistible”. We must accept it and (I believe) act upon it to be saved from our sin.
Thus it is not “solo gratis”; we have to not resist also.
As disciple-makers of people we certainly act as if they must at least “profess” a faith; we are not generally fatalistic in these matters.
Never mind me if this word dance is too touchy to your theology (which isn’t that important anyway).
