It hurts that William dismisses me as a link man, but he and Sandy, as articulate as they are find it beyond them to concede the process that put Moore in his position of influence is likely without redemption from the taint of the legacy of the Birch Society, Jesse Helms and and Pressler.

We are all fallen creatures, but Moore has some explaining to do on the spectrum from dare I say Molly Worthen and Apostles of Reason to Wuthnow's Rough Country and Bill Moyers upcoming lecture at Wake Forest in honor of James Dunn.

Moore does not carry water with Marilynne Robinson, even with Rachel Held Evans. His "Growth" is stunted by the circumstances of his conception!
