I am embarrassed and surprised to realize that from some time ago, maybe Friday or even Tuesday, until a few minutes ago, I spaced the fact that yesterday was Pentecost. It wasn't a bad day for a working Sunday, aside from the elevator being broken and the usual Folklife spike in shoplifts...

It was a good Sunday. Told the folks this week that if there was at least one thing I learned from preparing for Pentecost Sunday...I need to preach more on the Holy Spirit. There was so much that got left on the cutting room floor.
