In early February, at Wednesday night Bible Study, we studied the acrosstic Psalm 111. The pastor challenged those in attendance to write (collectively) an acrostic psalm. Each of us was given one or two letters of the English alphabet. Here is the result.
A- Adore God constantly.
B- Bring us quickly to an understanding of you grace.
C- Compassion on all he has made.
D-Devine Father, Deliver me and rescue me.
E- Every day God's Love is extended to us.
F- God's forgiveness is kind and merciful.
G- God's greatness is full of honor and majesty.
H- Hope is found in your saving love.
I- Immanuel; You are always with us.
J- Joy is always possible.
K- Kindness flows from the throne.
L- Love the Lord your God. With all your heart.
M- Marvelous are the works of His hands.
N- Never shall I fail to learn the lessons you teach.
O-Our Lord is good.
P- Praise the Lord and all the heavens.
Q- Quench not the Spirit.
R- Ruler of the Universe!
S- SAVED OUR SOULS AND HEARTS
T- Thank you Lord for saving my soul.
U- Unhappy I shall never be.
V- Victory is ours through the love of our Lord.
W- Wisdom is found in our relationship.
X- Xerxes mighty armies tremble before your heavenly hosts.
Y- Yesterday, today forever you are the same.
Z- Zealous to do your will, oh God.
We were not prepared for this exercise. We did this in about 5 minutes.
