A Salute to Haruo for getting me set up on BL/c again
Some how my automatic sign in for BL.C got turned off and then the site would not accept my password. (Trudys Husband) I have been reading most of the post . Really only scanning the stuff back and forth between David and Keith.
Trudy and I are fine.. I have had a physical and checked in with my three specialist in the last two months. They all say " You are in great shape ... for a man your age." Last week the Pneumatologist said I will see you again when you are 82. That will be after November.
Christmas was fine We had dinner at home I had a steak and Trudy had Shrimp.
On Monday of next week we will go out for our 24th wedding anniversary. And to celebrate the publication of Trudy's third book, The COMMAND and the PROMISE. an advanced copy arrived yesterday.
I read it last evening. It is a Devotional Study of the 119th Psalm. I only found one major error, on the back cover where there is a description of the book the first line says "Psalm 119 is the longest Book in the Bible" ... of course it should be 'Psalm 119 is the longest Psalm in the Bible". Trudy quickly E-mailed the publisher and asked that they correct that line. The Publisher is Conquest Publishing which is the same one that published her first book, TOGETHER: a collection daily devotions for Families with Children. They have been good to work with
I don't think she will keep up with 3 books in 25 months. These first three had actually been in the works for several years. And she finally got them each pulled together. Her first published work was in 1990, a months worth of Devotionals for the SBC Singles magazine. She has also done Devotionals for Smyth and Helwys
I have been having fits learning to edit video but I think I am about to start putting her sermons on U tube, if they grant my request for an extension of the time limit. 10 min is not enough for a sermon, I will be requesting 25 min.
Latter this month she will be starting a 9 week series on video for an Introduction to the Old Testament class for the NYSABC Region It will be presented region wide on the National ABC's Go To Meeting license. One of the other pastors in our association did Baptist Heritage Using Leonard's Baptist Ways. Starting in November into Dec. As chair of the Capital Area Baptist Association's, Lay Studies Program, I have a retired minister lined up to do a course on Spiritual Development in March.
