Bought a bag of "all-purpose cotton balls" at Bartell's yesterday. It occurred to me that if I wanted, say, a cotton ball I could employ as a French tutor for one of my daughters, well, in the absence of a cotton ball specifically engineered for the task, an "all-purpose" one would be the kind to get.

First he needs to get some daughters. Our cats are both neutered males. Tobias Klawsknitzer is very fond of hitting cotton balls around the floor like hockey pucks however.
