Something funny at the Craft Swap

Postby Mrs Haruo » Mon May 26, 2014 3:41 pm

A local used book store has a Sunday Afternoon Craft Swap about once a month where you can bring stuff that is overloading your craft room and trade it for things that are overloading someone else's craft room. Whatever doesn't get picked up is donated to local senior centers, church quilting bees and the like. I picked up a framed print that was too funny to leave behind. it is a drawing of 6 bird houses with funny names-- "Birdseye Diner, Drop-in anytime" "Birdbrain Elementary" "Fly-by Night Inn-- we have featherbeds!" "Home-Tweet-Home" "Sheriff- Jailbirds Welcome" and drumroll.........
"First Baptist Chirp"
Don't despair if your job and your rewards are few, remember that the mighty oak was once a nut like you!

The first Baptist chirp as in musical sound must have been way back.
