This book came under my radar; I wasnt aware of it till a few minutes ago though it has been around since 96.

Are any of you familiar with it or its reservations with Harvard Div School.

Is some revamped version of Francis Schaefers critique against the culture of the 60s and 70s; or is it a legitimate explorations. the folks it champions suggest it might fit into a First Things camp, kind of a challenge to the Christian Century and Sojourners emphasis on social justice.

Is it an underpinning for folks who aren't Birchers but want to be respectable in their Country Clubs and local GOP while having taste differences with more uncouth elements in the Tea Party?

How does it transfer to progressive Christendom? Does it offer convictional brakes to Christendom or another wolf in sheeps clothing like Francis Schaefer and Mohler turned out to be
"I'm the only sane {person} in here." Doyle Hargraves, Slingblade
"Midget, Broom; Helluva campaign". Political consultant, "Oh, Brother..."
