I was listening to NPR Morning edition early Monday and heard Kerflooey. I called right up and told Tonya Ott of the Bham station I thought I heard it pronounced Kurblooey in Oh Brother where Art Thou and later confirmed that was the usage of one of the Warvy Gals in the Trio who Sang in the Byways in the Hedges.
Also on NPR that morning heard the inspirational story of Carver HS (bama) teach for America's Wyatt Smith by way of Vanderbilt and Reeform Alabama. He's taking 6 innercity kids to China.
If any of yall know anything about any of this, please chime in.
