A major problem exists with Welfare turning into a 5-generation source of money to people refusing to work.
Another exists with rich people and Corporate America getting the same benefits without paying their fair share of taxes.
If you have the working classes and average citizens paying the bulk of taxes---and that being distributed to war / welfare / favors to the rich, we are headed to trouble. We already have more than we can afford without deficite spending being a constant.
Yelling at one another and loving campaigns of hate is the biggest thing we need to address, in my view. Lots of heat and little light right now reminds me of the atmosphere which killed JFK / RFK / MLK. I pray it will end while we are able to become a strong factor in the world again.
We are being entertained into oblivion and HBO On the Go proves we will do anything to retreat from reality.
