Some years ago, I saw a book in Barnes and Noble about two experts on the dating of papyrus documents. The book featured a section (or maybe most of a short book) on the dating of a small fragment of papyrus (Bodelian fragment?) containing a couple of verses of the Gospel of Mark. I remember reading the highlights in the store, and the conclusion was that the fragment dated to 45 A.D. +/- 5 which would change a lot in the dating of the gospels if true. Do any of you know the title of the book. I would like to get a copy of it.
The other is for reference to an axiom posited by experts in human revolutions which states that whenever the ratio of wealth between the haves and the have nots reaches a certain point, the result is violent revolution in which the rich and powerful get killed. I ran accross it in an obscure academic journal in the 1980s, and being the dofus that I am did not write down anything about it so that I could try to verify the axiom/theory whatever. Now I would just like to know.
