Is anyone running in the Democratic caucuses in Iowa? There are no news stories about Democrat activity in Iowa. Doesn't anyone have the guts to challenge Obama (who has been a big disappointment to this Liberal)? Are Democrats on primary ballots in any states this year? If not, why not?

I'll speak as a middle of the road Democrat here. One of my big frustrations is that Liberal Dems are never satisfied. No Obama hasn't done all I'd like him to do. But in many things his hands have been tied by previous decisions. And if not for him our economy now would be in a shambles.

Even if you disagree with me think of what our nation would be like with one of the following Republicans.

Romney - Flip flops so many times who knows what he really believes or will do when elected. He has swung left to right and back again.
Gingrich - Contract on America, thinks we should repeal child labor laws, lied repeatedly about his divorces and marital life. (not to mention his condescending nasty attitude.)
Bachmann - Crazy, looney, loopy.
Ron Paul - Who knows what party he is really in, wrote racist articles for a Newsletter that he is now running from.
Santorum - Preacher in chief.
Rick Perry - Can't remember how many members there are on the Supreme Court, what age is voting age, when the election is, and which agencies he will close. Rick makes GW Bush look like a Mensa member.

And you want to ding Obama??

- continued domestic surveillance
- increased defense budgets
- maintained Bush's tax cuts
- no immigration reform (Bush at least had the guest-worker program)
- no leadership on alternative energy
- hiring of Wall Street insiders instead of occupiers
- no leadership on infrastructure repair
- no leadership on educational scores
- very modest health care reform (Bush at least did the Prescription drug program, Obama would not even listen to single payer advocates).
- excessive vacations
- allowing increased income inequality

Obama stands accused for all these items just like Bush (give or take a little both ways); we'll see about whether or not he will hype-up a war with Iran like Bush did with Iraq.

Faux News has had to dream up differences (e.g. Birther story, his past associations [Wright, Ayers], ObamaCare scare tactics[death panels], etc.) just to keep some Obama hatred going.

In short if you loved GWB you should love Obama.
