This is indeed strange. I would say also it suggests a lack of real empathy for the person concerned about their loss of a job.

Her son, I believe, can be paid by the campaign committee. If not I assume his father can afford to care for his family or he shouldn't have quit his job. I don't believe he was forced to campaign for his father so he wasn't forced to quit his job.

The other conservatives are picking on Perry? This is politics. Maybe his wife wasn't ready for the real thing. The good news for Mrs. Perry is that if her husband continues to slide in the polls picking on him will be a waste of time.

I posted this because she was blaming Obama for an SEC regulation that has been there for a long time requiring a securities dealer to be clear of a political conflict of interest. I'm not certain, but I remember my stock broker in the 1980's was running for city council and had to take certain steps to keep that conflict from happening. I suspect these rules have been around a good while.

The most interesting thing about the Perry campaign was his SBC (somewhat effiminate) Pastor declaring that Romney was not a Christian because he is Mormon!!!

Talk about religion mixing with politics and the erasure of "Separation of Church and State," supposedly part of our Baptist Basics which are eroding what little was left of it (should say political right of it).

This is the most strange Republican Primary in years! Cane is coming on strong and maybe he will offer free pizza to the electorate as we watch distracting sports events!!!

"It's the economy, dummy" rings true to me and Cane's 9-9-9 idea of a simplified tax code is outstanding!!!!---and that's entertainment
