The war on terror just got worse

It is a little late to put this up but I thought it an opinion piece that will bring out diverse responses from Baptists.

A few varied comments are found at the above link including one of my favorite purveyors of thoughtful responses wherever they may be found and it is sometimes found here at baptistlife.

I agree with Prescott's response on his own blog.

Coptic Christian Dilemma in Egypt

Postby Stephen Fox » Tue Oct 11, 2011 4:59 pm

Isn't helping either.

Sometimes I sit in the house too long in the morning trying to think of a good reason to go outdoors.

For one thing I miss my bicycle. Bicycle thief has become a reality in North Alabama on the HWY Dietrich Bonhoeffer himself once traversed.

One bright light of late is a Muslim internatinal student I have befriended. He was sincere about wanting to read Charles Kimball's When Religion Becomes Evil. He could not find it in the juco Library he now attends, though to their credit they do house the recent work on George Truett's Detractor, J Frank Norris, and Gus Niebuhr's Beyond Tolerance.

Sunday I had to ask myself what kind of Christian am I if I don't risk my autographed pristine copy of Kimball's book.

I am ashamed I even gave it a second thought.

I handed it to him yesterday, which he received with a warm smile.

Maybe there is Hope.
