Land: "Perry is No Bush"

Just in case there is any interest here at all in what Richard Land has to say, or that he has a shred of credibility left. Land is a sell-out, at least as far as a Christian perspective is concerned.

I think I would agree with Land (a shock), and go on to say that, if anything, Perry is definitely worse than Bush.

Be a Distraction.

The issue is Frank Page, Jim Demint and the Tea Party and what will the SBC at national and state leadership say prophetically about the Tea Party if the easily googled Ohio Heartland Tea Party story at nybooks.com is the plumbline.
And where is Frank Page, and Doug Carver; where are they in regard Posner and Butler's reservations about Charles Pickering's Alliance Defense Fund as contexted in concluding thoughts of the Alarms and Denials conversation recently at religiondispatches.

That is my concern as posted today in comment line of Johnny Pierce Baps Today blog on Romney, JFK, Mornons and religious test for Office; my motif, talking point for today and I am staying on message.

BTW Bush may be no Bush if you dissect Charles Kimball's statement at Furman Monday night where he said Bush 41 mighta been one of the best Presidents in last 40 years when it came to matters Iraq and Iran.

I take it Sandy has seen the Oliver Stone movie "W"?

Jerry Vines and Rick Perry

Ed Kilgore who wrote the piece above is a NW Georgia Boy like Vines. He knows Cobb County, Marietta, and floyd County; all the way back to Larry Macdonald.

Point being Baptists esoterics of this discussion may want to keep up with his commentary now through First tuesday Nov 12.
And don't be shy about gettin in touch with Kilgore if you have insight into the thinking of Vines and Pickering, Page and Demint as we explore Tea Party and Rick Perry, Houston Prayer rallies and Jerry Boykin and Doug Carver to see how this thing is constructed.

Whenever religion and politics mixes, the religious get used!!!!

The second Baptists forgot about their heritage of "Separation of Church and State" we started the "gradual slope" which C.S. Lewis beautifully describes in his "Screwtape Letters."

Land, like Mohler, is pontificating with empty words and making judgements---more based on his pretenses than his spiritual (supposed to be) walk!!!!

It is comforting to know that these obese Baptists have not been very good at picking winners.

Land seemed to recommend Eric Cantor for VP last time around. Do you think he will do that again?
