Prayer Logs and the Devil All the Time

I heard this fellow yesterday on NPR Fresh Air. I think he's the real deal. Jim in particular will find this a must read.

I've heard of prayer logs; and there was a sentiment in my grandfather that was a milder version of a prayer log fellow, like the real one Pollock discusses.

Some analogies here to the novel of Shari Reynolds several years ago about the fundamentalist sect in Low Country South Carolina and a young girl coming of age.

I hope to read this one in August.
