Above is a link about some politicians on the Frontline of the Birther Movement.

Meanwhile in the last few days I have been watching the movie and DVD features of Leaves of Grass, produced and directed by Blake Nelson who played Delmar in Oh Brother Where Art Thou.

Lot of talk about the Jewish community around Tulsa Oklahoma and their passion for the State of Israel.
Assignment for David Flick is to be sure his daughter watches the Ed Norton and Blake Nelson commentary on the film, especially the segement on Pug Rothbaum and following.

Bring it to the attention of Bruce Prescott.

I remember in Nashville winter of 2004 or so the meeting in NAshville where Randall Balmer was a featured speacker of the Baptist Laity.

Prescott, Gourley, myself and Alan Roper and I fellow I had befriended through Ellen Rosenberg had an interesting chat first day in the lobby of one of the speaking rooms.

The scenes in Leaves of Grass I spotlighted above give further ambience to the conversation we had that day.
