I'm not certain that many of us pay attention to the threat levels. They have been high so long that most folks just don't think about it often.

I find it disturbing that our government would coax a young Arab into what he believed was a terrorist act. Why? It supports my contention that the USG wants it's populace scared. Got any other ideas?

And again I hope anyone who ventures here reads the news article above. The fact that this admitted act has drawn so little attention, just shows me how asleep we are.

My boss is the recipient of a classified briefing from Homeland Security. They can be frightening, but life has always carried risks. I don't think the current risks justify all the ink spilled to keep them before us. It does prompt folks into wanting to limit all our freedoms.
