The fringes at both edges want it to support their positions. Maybe the center realizes we still need "government of the people, by the people, and for the people" which is in danger of perishing from th earth.

Just a long shot here....I'm guessin' that few have actually read the arguments where the government's attny argued that the law in question would allow the government to ban books if they appeared to advocate for or against a candidate. I wouldn't be surprised if Keith would support such an action...but I would be surprised if many other bl.com types would.

That darn constitution is still getting in the way of stuff...
