Goes as far as it goes.
In order to end the need to be re-elected while in office (making reps/senator subject to hard or soft bribes), I would very much recommend one-term limits for both bodies.
Yes I know there will be a learning curve about Congressional processes with so much turnover. But reports/instructions should be written down often - it helps to clarify issues and record data when you write sometime down. I’ve learned that in so many venues - defense work, company strategic planning, church planning/committee work, civic organizations, even reading books. Have not always done that, but I recognize it helps clarify thinking.

Hopefully you mean one-term, not one-year term.

I'd not be against two or three 2 year terms for the House just because there is a learning curve and lack of experience can also be a problem as well as too much time in congress. But I like the idea of term limits.

Ed: I favor term limits however I believe the short terms you fellows suggest are far too short. I would favor something in the total 16 to 20 year range.
