From Gerry Milligan...Thank you Chief Justice Roberts for standing up against the wild (and usually untruthful) diatribes by donald trump. Too bad Paul Ryan and Mitch McConnell are invertebrates.

Paul Ryan is about to become irrelevant. McConnell will have the choice of making himself and the senate irrelevant and obstructionist, something he is good at, or of discerning the message sent by the voters of where things are headed in 2020 and start taking steps to prepare. The Trump insanity is the problem. I'd be OK if McConnell decided that taking the senate back toward standard GOP conservatism was the way to go.
