From Gerry Milligan...I wish that my professors at SWBTS had been like Trump. Any one who gives himself an A+ for a failing effort might have given me higher marks for my efforts.

Just to get back to the topic title for a moment...

I read today that while there were only 8 guilty verdicts out of 18 charges, the other ten were not passed simply because one juror held out "for inexplicable reasons" according to another juror. So all 18 were considered proven by all but one juror. I'd love to know his thinking.

It's been entertaining (better than the summer of O.J. Simpson—early 80s) to observe the righteous angst among the mod-libs. One thinks of Geithner, Daschle, and Richardson, as well as Obama, Reid and Durbin back in 2009. Geithner took over the Treasury Dept., the very agency from which he was committing theft until he got the nomination and was found out and had to ante up, though he coughed up only two years worth of his thefts, while he actually had been stealing for four years...tens of thousands of dollars. Whereas New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson threw in the towel for the Commerce job because of alleged PAC peccadilloes (funds used personally instead of politically), Geithner chose to brazen it out...disgusting for both him and Obama, who should have axed that nomination the minute Geithner was exposed. At least Richardson didn’t steal from his own government. Former Sen. Tom Daschle, tapped by President Obama to lead his healthcare reform campaign, failed to pay more than $128,000 in taxes in the three years before Obama nominated him to head the Department of Health and Human Services. Obama threw R&D under the bus, along with the Rev, Dr. Jeremiah Wright, a beauty who was Obama's mentor...or was he? Then of course, Obama, Reid and Durbin locked Obama's successor out of the Senate and had to be turned around by the court, a nasty decision based on the Illinois Constitution. The current corruption is merely more of the same. Voters expect it and are not surprised when it occurs, particularly remembering Prez Bubba (weird sex right in the WH), who would have been axed by the Me-Too gang if it had existed then, though its predecessor-gang (the ladies in a huff) filled D.C. in protest of the 2016 election-results in January 2017. Trump's guilts, if any, are as nothing compared to Hillary's as State Secretary or Comey's in his leaks to the press via a professor-friend and a rabidly happy MSM. Plea bargains amount to nothing since the recipients merely sign-on to whatever statements their prosecutor buddies devise. Placing them under oath does no good since they have nothing to lose in further lying. The truth is not an issue; rather, deep-sixing someone else is all that matters, in this case Trump. The rats have gone for their holes, though Manafort didn't make a deal and has become the fall-guy even though he had nothing to do with Russia vis-a-vis the elections. Turns out Russia didn't affect the vote, either, just made the DNC gang look like idiots as well as believably dishonest. So...the usual ho-hum. The greatest disgrace belongs to the FBI, its image sorely tarnished by its top thugs. Makes J. Edgar Hoover, with embarrassing dossiers on everybody from JFK to MLK, look like a saint.

From Gerry Milligan...Jim said " Trump's guilts, if any, are as nothing compared to Hillary's as State Secretary" which is what we often hear from the righteous right, but only this, no specifics. Jim, specifically (and hopefully fact checked by someone other than FAUX news) of what is Hillary guilty?

Jim doesn't deal in facts Gerry. This is all fantasyland ranting off the top of his head. None of it bears any resemblance to the evidence that has been put forth.

It irks a lot of the "white Christian America" folks that an African American president succeeded, won a resounding re-election and affirmation of his presidency from the voters, is the highest vote getter in the history of free democratic republics, and had an administration that didn't pander in the kind of corruption that recent Republican presidencies, and the current one, have been caught doing. Republicans, trying as hard as they could, and twisting and bending the evidence, couldn't pin anything on Hillary Clinton. Clearly, that gets under Jim's hide pretty good. In contrast, the Trump administration is not only the provably most corrupt in history, but right now only the special investigator knows the extent of what he did with the Russians. The evidence shows they tampered with the election on his behalf. To what extent he was involved, we'll know when Mueller's report comes out.

From Gerry Milligan...Thank you Sandy for confirming what I thought. I still do not understand the obsession with Hillary. She was defeated in the electoral college...those righteous republicans who voted for a murdering, lying, bone spurred draft dodger need to focus on the here and now.

I don't get it either. AND, she was investigated numerous times and not ever charged with anything. That can't be said of Trump's cronies. But, I honestly think Trump would try to blame Hillary for the bad weather if he could.

Those who haven't emerged from their caves in the last few years might not remember the Hillary affair connected to her installation and use of private servers in direct violation of government requirements. The servers, on which were top-secret information, were unprotected and thus accessible to hackers/governments worldwide. The installer of the illegal equipment took the Fifth when appearing before a congressional committee. Then-FBI Director Comey laid out a damning case against her (12 minutes in length) before a congressional committee in June 2016 and then said he wouldn't prosecute because the appropriate federal statute had been used only once. This was immediately after Clinton-hubby Bubba met privately with Obama's AG, Loretta Lynch, who should have made the decision but wouldn't take the responsibility for obvious reasons, the main one probably that Obama had told her what (or not) to do. Later, in another hearing, Comey indicated that Hillary had committed perjury in her own appearance before the committee, the same offense for which Bubba was impeached in 1999. This stuff pertains to actual criminality for legal reasons. During the night of the Benghazi massacre, both Clinton and Obama were unavailable, she because she was home in bed and he because he never said where he was. They should have been in the Operations Room in the White House. This was just plain incompetence/dereliction, for which both of them should have faced impeachment. An ambassador and three other U.S operatives were murdered by trained Muslims and a consulate was burned to the ground. H & O appeared in the Rose Garden the next day and lied through their teeth about what happened and then lied to the relatives of the deceased when their bodies were returned. Obama later lied to the whole world during a speech at the UN. On their watch, Libya was decimated by U.S. airmen on Obama's order, the result being between 30,000 and 100,000 dead Libyans...Obama never said...as reported. This action directly violated the U.S. Constitution since Libya (76,000 troops) was absolutely no threat to the U.S. (1.5 million GIs) or any other government. This was another impeachable offense for both of them. Some sites to check:
