Looks like in the general election here where we live, Washington State's 9th District will feature two congressional candidates, both Democrats, and both named Smith. I voted for the girl in the primary.

In our Senatorial contest, I voted for the union man, the Freedom Socialist Party candidate. Have to decide now whether to carry the torch in a write-in vote in November, or vote for Cantwell, who considers mountain-climbing experience "Community Service".

Yes, it makes us liberals feel better about capitalism to realize Adam Smith is a Dem.
