There's also the question of the quality of the jobs being created vis-a-vis cost of living etc. An awful lot of people in the United States who would have had a 40-hour-a-week job ten or twenty years ago are now working 2 25-hour-a-week jobs with the extra 10 hours of lost time for life going to pay costs like medical coverage that would have been covered under the previous sort of employment. The human reality is not readily reducible to a single line graph or pie chart.
