Well if the Trump administration is going after them, then I feel safe and secure.

This is just political grandstanding as far as Trump is concerned and the outcome will be the same that accompanies anything his administration attempts, which is zero. This is to fire up the racists in his base. One of the real solutions to problems such as this is increasing the presence, and training, of law enforcement to a level that succeeds. Trump and some conservative Republicans, especially those who don't want the wealthy to have to be troubled to pay for anything, will never invest in any of that. You'll hear tweeting and lip flapping from Trump, some applause from his mindless supporters, and you'll see an increase in the gang violence.
