That's about the only thing I learned in the first half of this cover story on how Evangelicals lost their Way from the Atlantic.

Let's see if Thornton learns anything has new insights or revelations from this piece. All are welcome.

Good article, Stephen, written by Michael Gerson, both the discussion of the strange “evangelical”/Trump alliance and for a general history of American Christianity. A lot more to it than "Woodrow Wilson Uncle James fired Over Evolution”.
