Sorry, too esoteric a joke. The mob nickname for Robert Mueller III is “Bobby Three Sticks.” It was a bit of a sign of respect as the mob is known for having nicknames for their friends and their enemies.

Mueller is best known for being meticulous. He won’t bring any charges he can’t prove. And, he is very careful to not take any actions he can’t defend. So, the raid does not bode well for Trump’s former lawyer or potentially for the President.

Obviously, since the lawyer/client privilege issue is so big, the Mueller team had to take their case to a judge to show cause before a search warrant could be issued for Cohen's office. That's a pretty high bar to get across and was done by the US Attorney in NY.

Just heard on the News that Rosenstein did sign off on the action. Mueller's reputation of going by the book is intact.

This seems to be a separate scandal from the collusion being investigated by Mueller, which is why it wound up where it did. Trump claims a witch hunt, and that everyone involved is a Clinton supporter and Democrat, but in fact, in both investigations, all of the key personnel are Republicans, and in this particular trail, all were appointed by him.

It's not like this stuff should be surprising anyone.
