Trump endorses Moore

Postby Haruo » Mon Dec 04, 2017 11:03 pm

... with one week to go. The GOP and Trump are truly desperate, looks like, to keep that one seat in the red column (in the new sense of red; was a time when red meant...). I do think that if our democracy survives till the midterms this will add to the midterm backlash and help make a Democratic majority quite possible for 2019-20. I know Moore (and probably Trump; surely Bannon) think(s) it's a mistake and all, but the women in this country do have the vote, and do vote, and by and large do not appreciate being told to get back in the kitchen and shut up and vote the way their Head says to. My guess is that even in Alabama there will be some gender backlash on this, but in many parts of the country it will be enough to tip things to the Democrats (or maybe in some cases to new alternatives).

Hope you are right about Alabama’s vote and a switch to a more people friendly 151th Congress.

In my neck of the woods it is at least 6:1 Jones signs to Moore signs.
