2 Party system is corrupt when running for the Presidency. Sanders, Stein and Johnson were the honest candidates (all thought to be unelectable).

We have mistrials; we ought to call the 2016 election a mis-election.

As one who never believed Hillary was a great candidate, there is very little here that is surprising. Most of it had already been said from the Sanders campaign. Yes, this was supposed to be Hillary's coronation and the deck was stacked, but it always was with the "super delegates. Frankly, I'm tired of both sides rehashing the 2016 election. There are far more important concerns for us as a nation than whether Hillary stacked the deck or that Trump lied, even to his base. There are plenty of issues that need attention now.

Kenya tried that and ended up with the same result.

(underlines mine)

I agree that little is surprising. The rule book and truth seems to get thrown out when there is a hard campaign going on. We have come to expect politicians to lie.

But I have to say one of our biggest current concerns is the continued lying /misrepresentation coming from Trump while in office.

1318 lies/misleading claims in 263 days.

Details and summary here.

Even the last two past Republican Presidents are speaking out.
Former President George H.W. Bush has a blunt assessment of Donald Trump: "He's a blowhard." And his son, former President George W. Bush, has harsh words for his Republican successor as well: "This guy doesn't know what it means to be president."

I gave Trump a chance once he was elected. I had hopes for an Infrastructure plan that would stimulate the economy and improve inequality and that once in office the lying, arrogance, ethnic/religious demagoguery, and un-presidentialness would end. It hasn’t.

Now I am a full fletched member of let’simpeachtrump club and get him some help. Is there a “Liars Anonymous” society?

Can't you just see how their meetings go?
First liar, whose name is Donald: "Hi, I'm Abdullah, and I'm a liar!"
All the others in attendance, standing and pointing their fingers at Donald: "Liar!!!"

Let me pull out an often used strategy that those who lean GOP here are quite fond of using. Put this up against the scandal and corruption that has plagued the Trump campaign, and the GOP, and their sorry, limp-wet response to a mountain of evidence that the Russians interfered in our election by colluding with the Trump campaign and this is mamby-pamby milquetoast jockeying for position within a political party.

This is the way politics works. Nothing illegal, just an in-house spat, and comparatively milder than the screwed up, inconsistent way the Republican primaries are organized, with some winner take all, some delegate allocations that favor the party bosses, and a system that was revealed to be powerless in the face of the corruption and manipulation of a candidate who never got a majority, or even a reasonable plurality, of the primary vote until almost the end of the primary season, when there was no one else in the field.
