Another campaign promise broken. Middle class tax cuts were a key point of the Trump campaign from well before the nomination, almost always punctuated by his "believe me!" exclamation. Even as the details of the tax plan are out, Trump keeps saying that what's in there isn't in there.

For now I just say AMEN. Ryan’s interview and discussion thereof showed many holes in the claim of this being mostly a "middle class tax cut”. Have done further reasonable, what-if analyses (with additional salary data), which I'll post at an earlier time-of-day (unless the 25%/35% threshold is announced when it would be more than a “what-if” analysis).
