Also to be considered is the as a complement to the Democrats “Better Deal”. Some Representatives (over 100 signees for 4 of the 7 bills, 161 for Raising the Wage Act H.R. 15) are suggesting solutions to our crony capitalism and massive inequality and diminishing voting rights and higher education availability and untaxed purchases/gains.

I agree with all these bills except H.R. 771 (Equal Access to Abortion). And I trust that some bill addressing GW/CC is coming soon.

I believe that although any of these bills will in all likelihood not even be debated in a PaulRyan-controlled House (or even on BaptistLife), what really needs to be done must be continually brought forward for those with eyes to see.

Ed: Yesterday was the 5th coolest AUG 1st in the History of Oklahoma City and the rest of the week is supposed to be below average. Higher wages are a major cause of inflation. Not everyone can benefit from a college education.

Some day and some way the DNC is going to finally have to get behind a single payer healthcare system. It is the only way to actually bring medical costs down to a reasonable level. You can call it a medicare expansion or whatever. But our current system primarily benefits drug companies and insurance companies not the US citizens.

I realize that is a tough sell and isn't possible in the current climate. But we know that the ACA isn't enough. We know the GOP can't fix it. In the next election the American people will be asking themselves again which of these parties will do something to fix the problem. The DNC has to refocus on the stuff that is financially killing the average worker in the US.

Then on to trying to elect someone to be President who wouldn't make the "Moral Majority" of the 80s barf the way 45 would.
