That's a real struggle for often the one providing the information has an agenda in which certain things seem justified or "true" when factually it may not be totally true. There is a great need for journalists who are themselves well-informed and able to sort what is being handed out and corroborate or deny it.

Regarding Tabloid "journalism" For years I have enjoyed the sensational, outlandish headlines on the cheap tabloid newspapers often found in grocery store check out lines. They help pass the time, but I have often been dissappointed when I can't find an article in the paper to go with a headline on the front of the paper.
The most amazing to me was one day when big letters on the front of the paper exclaimed WOMAN GIVES BIRTH WHILE SKYDIVING! Must have been an exciting day for everyone involved, but I never found out who caught the baby. Now you may return to your regularly scheduled editorial comments.
