Here's a link with facts, instead of the NewsMax crap that Jim posted.

http://www.cnn.com/2017/05/08/politics/ ... e-sanders/

Not really a surprise, Carter wasn't ever openly supportive of the Clintons. Of course, that was the primary. I voted for Bernie in the primary as well.

Perhaps this carries a bit more significance, since it is general election.

CNN is a "factual" source for political news?! Really??

Still bothered by PTESD/Clinton/Wiener/Putin/world? Try to intercept a little stuff from Mexico for Post Traumatic Election Stress Disorder but don't go near Pennsylvania, where you might get shot by a Pentecostal reading his Bible with one eye whilst aiming a double-barrel with the other.

I'm still LAUGHING!!!! I just saw Anderson Cooper on CNN and he had that look of a deer staring into headlights whilst being made into road-kill. He most likely will bay at the moon at midnight for a coupla hours and then visit his shrink tomorrow for some more meditation-medication and be advised to go on vacation or even hibernation.

A far better source than News Max, which isn't a news source.

You know, David, I think you'd get along remarkably well with Anthony Jordan and the other Oklahoma Southern Baptists who also live inside the fake news bubble of the religious right. You think a lot alike hi iu

Ed: LA Times [quote]George W. Bush has mostly remained silent about the presidential race as Trump has used harsh rhetoric about, among others, Mexican immigrants and women.

When did Trump use harsh rhetoric about Mexican Immigrants and women in general?

He did use some tough language about a criminal element among illegal Mexican immigrants. He also used Megan Kelly and Rosie O'Donnal and a few other women to demonstrate that women who opposed him on political issues would get equal with men who do so also. I am not a fan of trump's but I think a large part of the mainstream media is going out of their way to make him look worse than he is. He was elected by the process that has a long historical precedent, and he is the President.

And Sandy, I am quit happy that none of my grand children or great grand children live where their parents might be enticed to send them to your school. Your comment to David is hitting below the belt.

Thanks Sandy, that first link works well. But what does the "hi iu" you signed off with in your anti-Flick post below?

I am simply comparing David's perspective, which he shared, to that of Anthony Jordan, who has made similar observations about the reliability of CNN. They also hold similar views on global warming. They were both vocally opposed to just about anything President Obama did.

My theological perspective is quite compatible with that of Southern Baptists. The way I develop and practice my values, according to that theological perspective, is different from most Southern Baptists and out of those interpretations, my political view is quite different from that of most Southern Baptists, on many issues, and about many things. I used to be bothered by that, but I'm not anymore. People change for a variety of reasons. From a denominational perspective, David distanced himself from Jordan and the BGCO. But on these issues, they're in agreement. Pointing that out isn't hitting below the belt.

It's a typo. The dog's contribution, she bumped against my computer when I was posting.

Thanks for asking that, Robert! I tried to ask but managed to omit the word "mean"...
