Reminds me of that fateful day in October 1948 when while marching in the “short people” segment of the company (goon platoon) with bayonets affixed to the ancient pieces (rifles) the New England-spawned drill instructor gave the order I understood to be “Diarrhea Match.” I won't describe the melee that followed but I definitely did not squat and do recon of the area. He had, of course, merely screamed “To the rear, march,” but this hillbilly had never heard that accent.
