This is a nice story, not really political. Since I didn't know where to put it (forum-wise), and since 4 senators have introduced a bill to award a posthumous medal to this veteran, I decided to put it here.

I should have mentioned that. I had looked it up when I first saw the story to see if I thought it was legit.
It's always nice to find a heart-warming story such as this.
