"Don't judge his words"

I'm fascinated by the recent comments by Kelly Ann Conway. She says that we must not judge Trump by his words, only by what is in his heart.



There is also a NY Times response today to this.



Perhaps Conway needs to move from Two Corinthians to James 3:1-12 or Matthew 15:10-20. Can we expect either of those passages in Franklin Graham's speech?

Conway is herself a professional liar by trade, "spin doctor" as they are referred to in the media, primary qualification being to distort, deflect, refocus attention, change the subject and obfuscate. The characteristic needed for the job is to lack integrity or honesty of any kind, because that might cause you to mess up.

Somehow, Rachel Maddow has managed to have her on her show a couple of times. I don't know if Maddow was actually trying for straight answers or truth, or if the whole purpose of having her on was to have something which underlines the complete dishonesty and lack of integrity that characterizes everything Trump is or does, but she wouldn't let Conway wiggle out of questions with diversions, countered the lies with facts, confronted her with some contradictory statements she'd made, as well as Trump, and had her clearly uncomfortable, squirming, and frazzled by the time it was over. Maddow is a reporter who is good at getting at the truth, though it never came out of Kellyanne's mouth, the audience was able to see what a liar she is.
