A delicious irony regarding the DNC is that there’s serious consideration of Minnesota Representative Keith Ellison for the job.  He is one of only two Muslims in the Congress, both converted African Americans born in this country.  Ellison took his oath of office with his hand on the Koran, in which are the dictates concerning the wasting of infidels at every opportunity and not denied by any Muslim cleric of importance such as Ayatollah Khameini [sic?].  Ellison did the Sunday morning circuit last weekend (NBC at least) and insisted that he keep his congressional seat, as fired DNC Chairman Wasserman-Schultz did ($174,000 annually) while running the DNC (salary hard to find but likely commensurate with RNC Chair salary of $200,000, the last amount I remember for the DNC job).  Already in a death spiral, the party would likely disintegrate if Ellison should get the job, but stranger things have happened such as the House postponement of the election of minority leader until later, perhaps connecting Pelosi with the current turmoil.  The predicament occasioned by a president Trump disallowing Muslims into the country and vowing to do away with a bunch of them “over there” and ferreting them out over here while dealing with a Muslim DNC chairman (make that DNC chairperson...PC requirement) whose religion demands the opposite is another delicious irony.  Obama, whose top aide (Jarrette) and CIA chief (Brennan) are both Muslims, does not help the situation, with his legacy, Obamacare, already in flames threatening to bankrupt the country.
