Here's one on the AR-15, right off the NRA website, that states rather clearly their position on unrestricted firearms ownership, and asks the question directly, "Why don't you want me to have one of these?" and then goes on to explain that the right to own one is implicit in the second amendment, and "that's why I have one." Essentially, it is "I own an arsenal of high military weapons because I want to and the second amendment says I can."

What is common to the Dallas and Boton Rogue police shootings is that both gunmen were Iraq veterans and suffered mental illness.

They were not members of or involved with BLM.

This just in: Sandy advocates banning big trucks. "Just look at the carnage caused by that truck in Nice. If we restricted weight to that of a small pick-up, lives would be saved."

When he was last seen, Sandy, known to be a solid union supporter, was sedated, some sort of catatonic trance caused by the Teamsters Union opposing his position.

Gun advocates always come back to the same diversion, and the same tactics. The facts fly in your face, in that countries which have regulations and restrictions similar to those that are proposed here do not have the level of gun violence that we do.

It will change when some NRA big shot's kid gets killed in a school shooting.
