I was listening to an interview this morning on NPR with Speaker of the House, Paul Ryan. He was doing his tongue-tied best to declare why he is supporting Donald Trump. His most interesting comment was, "Trump will sign better legislation into law than Hillary will."
Has something changed since I last read the Constitution. I don't recall any amendments. The quality of legislation originates in the Congress. What is signed only gets there when both houses have agreed upon matching language and provisions. Doesn't better legislation begin in the places where Ryan and Senator Mitch McConnell preside? Does the third in line for the Presidency need to go back and take high school government?
