Facebook down

Something seems to be wrong with Facebook. Is this the beginning of The End?

As of around noon Pacific time when I went on line, Facebook is running fine. Reminds me of early days in T.V. when the test pattern would show up on the screen and a calm voice would announce "We are experiencing technical difficulties, please stand by."
Don't despair if your job and your rewards are few, remember that the mighty oak was once a nut like you!

My facebook came back up within the hour.
