I turn 65 today. My wisdom for today is:
1) end gun ownership by private citizens
2) further develop/employ non-lethal weapons for police,security guards, military
3) invoke a far higher threshold for any foreign military action
4) create government jobs (about 10-15 million of them); many could be contracted out to private competition
5) end campaign contributions (public financing of debates with about 2-3 months to election)
6) listen to the Pope (Global Warming and More)
I recommend the following book for more needed reforms:
