He points the way to evidence-based policy, not policy-based evidence or ideological blinders.
The is a positive, bi-partisan step in that direction, but according to Dionne there is no chance of that passing.
Dionne endorses 2 bi-partisan books that promote data-based decisions. Both are in the Top 100 Editor’s Picks for 2014.
But somehow I put more probability in a social revolution and third party candidates to invoke good policies than I do nominally bi-partisan quantitative efforts.
