If by “significant”, you mean how rare is that rate of change: According to paleoclimatic studies, the earth has never warmed that quickly by a factor of 6.
If by “significant”, you mean what are the bad impacts on society of global warming: They have been manifold already (extreme weather, food supplies, water resources, health effects) and will get worse (even if effective mitigation were turned on immediately).
