Shouldn't the federal government, and not states, be determining how federal elections are conducted? Interesting, since this is a different perspective on elections than they took in the Citizens United ruling.
There''s only one reason that Ohio's Republican legislature wants to cut down the early voting dates. It's religious discrimination. The days they want to cut are Sundays, because large groups of church people across the state get together after church and Sunday dinner, and go vote together, upwards of a half million of them. If they were white, conservative, Protestants, they'd be expanding the number of Sundays they could vote, but most of the Sunday voters in Ohio happen to be African American. They are trying to keep Christians from voting. That's it. Shame on them!
