Whatever one thinks about the wisdom of air-attacking/going to war with ISIS/ISIL, the President has bypassed Congress and the UN.
What do ya’ll think?
My view-
Why pass a law () and ignore the spirit if not the letter of that Law. In my view Congress should always be required to grant authority (even for air strike campaigns - including drones) and it is best to get UN approval as well. Given the slow rollout of this ISIS policy decision, he cannot claim “eminent danger”.
