I talked to Ms Ardis this morning, young woman graduate of Troy State. Had a cordial conversation though we grated a little when I chatted with her back in the summer when the Gov was at the Western Sizzlin in Ft Payne.
Ms Ardis says she has some friends who went to Furman.
I encouraged her to listen to the report on Morning edition NPR about the Tea Party stifling reform on anonymous donors to Freedom Works, Wellspring and other groups. With the recent mess in Baldwin county will be interesting to see how Bentley and House Speaker Mike Hubbard navigate these matters.
As for Hubbard, he may be lost and on the Road to Hell. His facebook post about President Obama and Gettysburg may be beyond Redemption. I brought it to the attention of the Melissa Harris Perry show on MSNBC hoping a panel of Taylor Branch, Joe Crespino and Auburn Grad Cynthia Tucker may be in the offing before the Iron Bowl to explore Hubbard's Plantation at Auburn. I doubt the team goes to see 12 years a Slave before they meet Nick Saban over Thanksgiving.
