This isn't the first time I've seen Google News synopses that bear little resemblance to the content of the item linked. I wonder if it's outside hackers, or folks at Google itself with wit and free time on their hands. (Like the "jetski" responses on Google maps when you try to walk from, say, San Francisco to Tokyo.)

Mrs H just read me a report that Sarah Palin had said that Obama "caused the government shutdown by not bombing Syria." I went to Google News for corroboration, couldn't find any, but found the attached bizarre synopsis of a Time blog (which incidentally doesn't say any such thing that I can see.)
