Looking over "the problem with politics and public policy discussions here" thread it seems like there's hardly even a common language to express the nuances of political difference. I don't know how many have used this before, but I've found the to be very useful in orienting political discussions in the past. Maybe y'all could take the test and share your scores to get a better idea of the spectrum of opinion that exists and in what ways you're similar and different in the broader strokes it measures.

If you look at the website it shows not a hairs difference between Obama and Romney with Obama being only slightly more liberal. This points to what I've thought for years that our whole political system has drifted to the right so that Dem leaders are moderate conservatives and Republicans are further right conservatives.

2. Land shouldn't be a commodity to be bought and sold.

3.Those with the ability to pay should have the right to higher standards of medical care .

I am curious how my mod/lib friends would answer these questions.

I disagreed with this one.

I strongly disagreed with this one. I believe we should have universal healthcare and I see it as a human right.

I certainly have no idea as to the accuracy of the test other than it did correctly peg me.

I took a religious one a few weeks back that was suppose to match you to your denomination. Interestingly it pegged me as 100% Methodist, 94% Anglican/Episcopalian, about the same for ELCA, and down the line only about 50% Southern Baptist. I'll hunt the link for that one. It was fun!
